Week of 10/2
Good afternoon WOL Family,
If you missed the evening worship service last night the Lord is calling us to move from behind these walls and go out and minister to those outside. Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. However, most of the church (universal) is loosing their saltiness and hiding their lights. We, as the church, need to show people that we have the answer to their every problem. Jesus also said, "let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." We need to wake-up the anointing in us, find the ministry that God has for us, and move out in faith knowing that God will back you up with His word. By doing this, not only do we win others to Christ, we show our lights off to the world and thereby bring glory and praise back to Him.
Saturday, October 1st we will be having an evangelistic outreach here in Warner Robins. Those interested please meet at the church at 12:00 for prayer and to get things ready. For more information on this outreach you can contact Fred Washington.
Saturday, October 8th the evangelism ministry will be meeting at Elberta Nursing Home for ministry at 3:00. Please be there no later than 2:45 for prayer beforehand.
Tuesday, October 11th Deborah's Co. will tentatively be meeting for their monthly Bible study and prayer time. This begins at 6:00pm.
Please continue to pray for those on the Russia team. They left on Wednesday (yesterday) and will be returning on the 11th of October. Pray for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit as well as salvations and a mighty strengthening of the churches there in Russia and Armenia. Thank you for your prayer support and financial gifts. Pray also that the entire trip will be paid for by the time they return.
One final prayer request. Our Pastor in Residence (while Pastor is in Russia) ran into a little health issue. We have been praying for Stanley and believe that all is well with him. Please join us in thanking the Lord for a full and quick recovery.
Thank you for all that you do to support WOL. Have a blessed week and I hope to see you on Sunday. You are loved here at WOL.
