Week of 8/7

Good evening WOL Family,

I pray that you took advantage of our "month of rest" last month because we are going to hit the ground running this month.  Something the Lord reminded me of yesterday is the through faith and patience we will inherit the promises of God.  Since the end of last month my mind has seemed to be racing with all kinds of things.  Yesterday I was praying about it and said, "this has to stop."  As we talked about last month, God desires us to be at peace and rest.  Anyway, no matter where you are physically, financially, spiritually, or socially it is through faith and patience that we will inherit what God has promised us.  So keep hanging on and keep pushing in to Him.  If you keep moving you will get to where you need to go!

The ladies will be leaving tomorrow morning for Tampa.  If you have signed up to go on that trip and are going on that trip, please be here by 6:45am so the van can be packed up and be pulling out at 7:00am.

We will be meeting with our past overseers, Drs. David and Vernette Rosier, beginning on Wednesday, August 10th and finishing Friday, August 12th.  That is next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  The meetings will begin at 7:00pm each evening.  These meetings promise to be powerful so make plans now to attend.
Also, because of these three special meetings Deborah's Co. will not meet on Tuesday the 9th.

Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th we will be holding another Holy Ghost School of Results.  Friday night will begin at 7:00pm and Saturday morning will begin at 10:00am.  Come be a part of these powerful, Holy Spirit lead teachings.

Friday, August 26th and Saturday, August 27th we will be holding healing services here at the church.  Friday evening will begin at 7:00pm and Saturday will begin at 10:00am.

I pray that you have had a great week and will have a great weekend as well.  I hope to see you on Sunday, Lord willing.  You are blessed and loved.

Pastor Doug
